Alexis and I recently celebrated our birthdays. For her birthday her family took her to the zoo and The Melting Pot (unfortunately I had to work). She also got a few nifty gifts, like a new sony notebook, a flower arrangement, some stuffed animals from the zoo and we both went and made build a bear animals at the Gateway. All in all, I think it was a pretty good birthday for us.

Alexis started school last week and I started a new job over at Best Buy. With both of us having multiple responsibilities that take a lot time, it makes it hard to see each other. We are dealing with it though because it won't be for very long. Alexis will graduate with her associates degree soon and shortly after that will have her bachelors in the clinical laboratory sciences. I am very proud of her and all of her hard work.
